The story of a photographer

I was born and raised in Clarksville, TN. The oldest of four siblings. Growing up in a split household, my mother compensated by putting us in every sport possible. She pushed us to excel in everything we do. Like every other proud mom, she had her camera in our faces... every practice.... every game.... she did not want to miss capturing the moment. She was there every field trip, every dance, you name it. Throughout the years, I grew fond of taking pictures of my siblings so that my mom could enjoy rooting them on. This is where my photography interests began. As I pursued many things throughout high school, my senior year, I decided to join the yearbook staff. Where I learned about journaling and taking candid shots of our school events. I fell in love with photography throughout the years. After my children were born, I pursued family photography for the joy of helping other families that could not afford high-quality images elsewhere. As my photography career grew, I practiced with fellow model friends of mine, creating and building our portfolios together; jumping in at events as a secondary photographer. I came to enjoy event photography and more candid photos. I am a firm believer of capturing a moment over capturing a posed picture. Overall, I enjoy being creative with the energy received through my pictures.
